Blind Faith

God, thank you for all the beauty, consistent presence of goodness in the mist of strong storms to teach us and pleasant peace to applaud us. We thank you for your abundant grace and mercy.

One day I was riding in a storm and could not see no further than the car in front of me. The rain was so heavy I used the brake lights from the car to stay in my lane, shaking and trembling the whole time. I continued to drive straining my eyes searching for these brake lights only for them to slowly fade away then uncertainty and fear invaded my thoughts. Losing control was not an option so the confidence that was lying dormant begin to surface, woke me up then I remembered who I am. Suddenly I realized the power we give to situations when we do not trust in what we already know.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.
